Back in School: Eco-Friendly Alternative to Flash Cards

Through the school year many of us use flashcards as a study method. They can be very helpful for remembering definitions and learning vocabulary for other languages However have you ever realized how many of those index cards end up in landfills. Every year thousands of students throw out pounds of paper used for school work. By cutting down the amount of paper we use just for studying, we can save thousands of tress, without sacrificing a popular and effect study method.

Websites like Quizlet allow you to make online flashcards. You can also use flashcards made by other users. In order to make  flashcards you first have to sign up for a Quizlet account or you can sign in with your Facebook account. However when using other peoples flashcards this step this not necessary. You also have the choice of using their test mode or participating in study games. Quizlet also allows you to study on the go with their phone apps.
