Tips on How to Make an Eco-Friendly Move

Since I myself am in the process of moving, I thought it would be helpful if I wrote an article oncouple of tip I am using to how to make moving eco-friendly.

  1. Pack your stuff in boxes you picked up for the grocery store.  Many grocery stores allow consumers to pack their groceries in cardboard boxes that once held the foods on the shelves. This option is not only cheaper but more environmentally friendly, since you are reusing old boxes. It also benefits the grocery store because you are taking boxes that would otherwise be thrown in the trash.
  2. Rent a Green Box. This option is even more eco-friendly than using cardboard boxes. This is because you are using reusable boxes. To learn more check out RENTAGREENBOX.com
  3. Use Green Cleaning Products. When cleaning your old home don't forget to use an eco-friendly cleaning. Some examples include green works, and  seventh generation. You can even make your own green cleaner. Click here for a recipe on my blog
  4. Move Everything at Once. Reduce your carbon footprint, and save money on gas by moving everything at once.

Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo Review

Today's post will be a review on the Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo. I brought this shampoo a month ago when I wanted to try something a little more eco-friendly on my hair. The product contains "a precious blend of Moroccan argan oil which instantly penetrates the hair shaft while creating soft, seductive, silky perfection." (copied off of the shampoo bottle)

Why is it so Great...

  • "This rare formula has a centuries-old history of providing natural vitamin E and antioxidants while renewing your hair 's cell structure, sealing in shine, and creating lush softness." (copied off of the bottle)
  • Safe for colour treated hair
  • Sulfate free
  • Not tested on animals
  • Environmental friendly packing

My Thoughts

pros
  • Leaves a good smell in your hair
  • Sulfate free
  • Not tested on animals
  • Good price for a shampoo ($7)
cons
  • Does not make your hair very soft unless you use all the products in the collection
  • Did not add significant shine to my hair
(If it helps I have type 4b hair) Click here for more information on hair types
